Our Team
The Global Dispute Resolution Conference is organised by its Organising Committee, which sets the Conference’s vision and content and coordinates its overall execution, providing a high-level forum for discussion on dispute resolution.
Marina Gouveia
Marina Gouveia is a dual-qualified lawyer in Brazil and Portugal, holding a Master’s degree in Mediation, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, complemented by postgraduate studies in Corporate Law and advanced training in arbitration and ADR at Pepperdine University, Bucerius Law School and the University of Salamanca. She has extensive international experience at leading institutions such as the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris, the Madrid International Arbitration Center (CIAM) and CAM-CCBC in São Paulo, where she managed more than 150 proceedings. Co-founder of the Brazilian Mediation Day and the Global Dispute Resolution Conference in Paris, Marina is an active lecturer and author in the fields of mediation and third-party funding, and works in Portuguese, English, Spanish and Italian.
Rissiane Goulart
Rissiane Goulart holds an LL.M. in International Law (USA). She is a commercial attorney and the founder of Goulart & Associados, as well as a negotiator and mediator accredited by the Brazilian National Council of Justice (CNJ) and a Distinguished Neutral at CPR in New York. She currently serves as Deputy Vice-President of CCAMI and Director of Mediation at CMAA. Co-founder of the Brazilian Mediation Day and the Global Dispute Resolution Conference in Paris, she is also Secretary-General of the National Mediation Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association (Federal Council) and President of the Mediation Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association in Santa Catarina. An author and professor, she was the first Brazilian to draft the final case for the ICC Mediation Competition.
